As the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has banned the airing of “hug” scenes in dramas it is least bothered about these plays for promoting ‘sex’ in a very subtle way.

According to the PEMRA directive, “hugs, caress scenes, extramarital relations, vulgar or bold dressing, bed scenes and intimacy of married couple” are being “glamorised in utter disregard to Islamic teachings and culture of Pakistani society”.

As the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has banned the airing of "hug" scenes in dramas it is least bothered about these plays for promoting 'sex' in a very subtle way.

PEMRA has also stated that it proceeded with the ban after receiving numerous complaints from the general public” about trends in dramas that do not depict the true picture of Pakistani society.

As a matter of fact these Pakistani dramas are showing mostly the sex frustrated men and women. They portray them in a way that viewers could get the sex satiation.

No body nor a regulator or other bodies are willing to look into this aspect…what a shame.
Prime Minister Imran Khan should take note of this. PAK DESTINY
