‘PML-N anchor’ Absar Alam facing problems in getting PEMRA chief slot

(Pakdestiny) Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid’s attempt to place his another blue-eyed journalist Absar Alam as Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Chairman met a setback today after Lahore High Court admitted a plea in this regard.
After placing journalist Muhammad Malick on the seat of PTV Chairman the PML-N bigwigs especially Rashid were about to appoint their another ‘tout’ in PEMRA. But LHC intervenes.
Since several other ‘PML-N anchors’ are rendering their service in private channels, the PMLN wants to appoint its most trusted men in media on top slots like PTV and PEMRA.
Let’s see how the information minister and his cohorts manage to go ahead with their plan in this regard. Pakdestiny
