PTI turning into PTI-Turncoats (PTI-T) after embracing disloyal politicians of other parties – Ramash and Zaheeruddin latest addition

     Before them Imran Khan has collected a good number of PPP ‘tainted faces’ like Dr Babar Awan, Firdous Ashiq Awan and Nazar Gondal. PML-N opportunist MNAs – Raza Hayat Hiraj, Tahir Bashir and Nazir Jutt – have also joined the PTI for the ’cause of making New Pakistan’.

     Imran Khan is quite hopeful that in coming days his party would dent PML-N more and take away a number of its MPAs and MNAs. Is not it shameful that PTI instead of bringing forth its own leaders and give opportunity to the youth to contest election is banking on turncoats (lotas). Many are terming it a quite shameful act of Mr Khan to have accepted these lotas.

     Take an example of Chaudhry Zaheeruddin who is shown the door by PML-Q leadership on Sunday for rushing to board the bandwagon of PTI. Zaheeruddin enjoyed absolute power during the tenure of Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi (2002-07) in Punjab. He was communication and works minister but his colleagues in the cabinet used to call him deputy chief minister because of the trust Mr Elahi had in him. But this opportunist took no time to ditch his benefactors (Chaudhrys of Gujrat) to secure a seat of MPA or MNA from his native town of Faisalabad from Khan. Imran Khan is getting a lot of flak and curse from the party leaders like Fauzia Kasuri for obliging turncoats instead of his old party loyalists.

    Interestingly, turncoat opportunists like Zaheeruddin and Dr Ramash Kumar have no plausible reason to offer to the public for being disloyal to their benefactors. Both these guys used to say that they would rather quit politics then changing their loyalties. But such a stuff shows its real colour when election is not far away.  Time is not far away when Imran Khan would be cursing such opportunists too.

    There are reports that some 50 PML-N MPAs and MNAs are waiting this tenure of the government to end and they rush to embrace PTI. If this happens then PTI should better rename it PTI-T (T for turncoats).

    Take another example of Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed. This guy spent about two decades with the Chaudhrys of Gujrat but took no time to embrace Nawaz Sharif when he offered him a seat of Senate. “There is a word in Nawaz Sharif party that every politician has a price. Just offer him that and he is ready to join you… Mushahid like politicians prove it”

    Yesterday Mushahid was all praise for Gen Musharraf and Chaudhrys and today he thinks Nawaz is the man he should follow. How interesting… isn’t it.  – Pak Destiny
