Sadness keeps 36 per cent Pakistanis from going about their normal business

 

Islamabad (Pakdestiny) According to a research study, 36% Pakistanis say sadness or worry kept them from going about their normal business during the past month.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “In the past 30 days, have there been any days when feeling sad or worried kept you from going about your normal business?” In response to this question, 36% respondents said that there have been days when feeling sad or worried kept them from going about their normal business during the past month.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1550 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country. By Asma Shaukat
