Islamabad, April 2 (Pak Destiny) PCB chairman Najam Sethi will have to see ‘Bookies’ link in Pakistan’s defeat to West Indies in T20 World Cup match.
There is a glaring question – who ensured the place of out of form Kamran Akmal and Shoiab Malik – in the team.
The names of Akmal brothers and Shoiab Malik had already been linked with bookies. As in the past millions of rupees had been found illegally from their bank accounts but no action was initiated against them.
In the crunch game, the Akmal Brothers and Malik appeared to be in league to get a result which was planed by the bookies.
The PCB chairman will have to probe this. He also should see whether Coach Moin Khan still has links with bookies too. In his playing times, Wasim Akram was known for fixing matches but he (Moin) never raised finger at him.
