Islamabad (Pak Destiny) After facing a ban on Dunya TV for demanding resignation of the ISI chief, Mujeebur Rehman Shami has found a refuge at Geo News.
Understandably Geo is supposed to be a final destination of Shami who the other day openly demanded resignation of Gen Zahirul Islam in a talk show in Dunya TV where he used to do a programe.
However, Dunya TV owner Mian Amir Mahmood banned Shami for his anti-ISI and army remarks. After Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Shami’s house to console with him over the death of his sister, Shami decided to go all out support for Mian sahib and spoke the wish of the premier (Gen Zahir’s resignation).
Poor Shami had to pay the price of his anti-ISI remarks and he was slapped a ban by Amir Mahmood forthwith.
As Shami finds no other platform to express his views, Geo News has come to his rescue and invited him at its programs. On Wednesday Shami appeared in Ayesha Bakhsh’s talk show on Geo News and gave a message to ISI that he will continue waging his war against it on the TV channel which has been declared anti-state by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
Shami is also taking out his daily “Pakistan” and lets see how long he manage to fight against ISI with the help of PML-N. – Pak Destiny
