Versatile actor-writer Kader Khan has said that after spending four decades in Bollywood when he fell ill, producers and directors refused to take him in their films.
Despite being unwell, he was passionate about cinema, and wanted to keep the ball rolling.
Khan, who was present at the trailer launch of his upcoming comedy “Hogaya Dimaagh Ka Dahi”, was clearly having difficulty in talking and walking.
Indian media quoted him saying, “Some people refused to keep me with them. I was a little unwell. And people refused to take me back into their films”.
But with the conduct of director Fauzia Arshi, Khan was so pleased as she was the only one who took good care of him and kept motivating him.
Khad added, “There was freedom from Fauzia right from the first meeting. She is an outstanding director”.
Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra are including in the cast of the film. Khan termed them ‘thespians’ and expressed delight at getting the opportunity to work with all of them together.
