Islamabad, March 28: You can never eradicate terrorism by patronizing terrorism and this is exactly what PM Nawaz Sharif’s Pro- Taliban government is doing on Federal and Provincial levels. How can the government patronize TTP terrorists? Simple, Agree to their demand and Free all “Captured Terrorists” to come, live in the neighborhoods near you. This way, you live under their constant terror and they will be answerable to future ” Amir-ul- Momineen Nawaz Sherif “, who along with Mulla Omer of Afghanistan, answer the Saudi’s. A legislation might already be in works under 25th or maybe 26th amendment to Pakistani Constitution… Don’t believe me? Here is what is happening behind the scenes….
On Federal level, Just a month back, majority Pakistani’s favored military operation after TTP killed 23 FC soldiers and threw their mutilated bodies on the street. The entire country was enraged and demanded immediate action. Pakistan Army started a targeted operation in North and South Waziristan but PM Nawaz Sherif took a complete U turn, halted the operation and offered negotiations to TTP.
What TTP wants to achieve in these so called “negotiations” ? Freedom of its combatants or so called “prisoner exchange”. In other words all suicide bombers who failed to open their jackets, terrorist caught making bombs or were apprehended during planning or execution process will be given freedom to live in neighborhoods near you. In the first step though, all non-combatants will be released to show good faith between parties. Sound comforting to you? I am fearful….
On Provincial level, World renounced terrorist “Malik Ishaq” was granted bail by a bench of Lahore High Court. Malik Ishaq is a founding member and is the current leader of LJ. In 1997, Malik Ishaq admitted his involvement in terrorist activity that resulted in the deaths of over 100 Pakistanis mainly Shia minority. More recently, in February 2013, Pakistani police arrested Ishaq in connection with attacks on January 10 and February 16, 2013 in the northwestern city of Quetta, Pakistan that killed nearly 200 Shia Pakistani civilians. LJ claimed responsibility for the Quetta bombings.
On Feb 6th, 2014, The United States issued a notice ” Terrorist Designation of Lashkar I Jhangvi and Malik Ishaq” and adds Ishaq’s name in Global Terrorist List for his role in Shia killings in Pakistan. US Department of State stated, “LJ specializes in armed attacks and bombings and has admitted responsibility for numerous killings of Shia religious and civil society leaders in Pakistan. LJ claimed responsibility for a 2013 attack in a crowded billiards hall in Quetta that resulted in the deaths of 80 Pakistanis”.
On March 21st, 2014 Malik Ishaq was granted bail by a division bench of the Lahore High Court in two cases of delivering “hate speeches” in the religious gatherings. His release after admitting to kill 100 people and his banned organization’s admission of terror proves “state’s complete surrender to terrorists” and their patronization.
Similarly, Hafiz Saeed, Amir of Jammat-ud- Dawa, is free to go anywhere in Pakistan. Regardless of 10 million dollar bounty by the US as known terrorist, the Punjab government funds 61 million dollars for his religious institution as claimed by Senator Farhat Ullah Babar during a hearing on interior policy of Pakistan. He said that Saeed had been working despite the UN ban while chief of Jesh-e-Muhammad Maulana Masood Azhar attended a book launching ceremony only three days before the government unveiled its security policy.
The Counter Terrorism Department(CTD) of Punjab Police published its “latest edition” of the Red Book containing names and pictures of 95 most wanted terrorist on the loose with head money worth RS. 1 Billion for their arrest, alive or dead. Most of the wanted terrorists are government patrons and untouchable by the police.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received a threat letter by Laskeer-e- Jangvi (LeJ). Bilawal tweets “received threat letter frm LEJ.Will hold Punjab govt responsible 4 LEJ attacks if Sharif cont 2 give them protection & refuse2 take action.”
So what is the plan of Prime Minister Nawaz Sherif for “Naya Pakistan”, release all terrorists for peace and forgive all suicide bombers, sectarian killers, extremists, target killers, religious extortionists, suicide recruiters and home based IED manufactures who in future will be living in neighborhoods near you while you live in fear for your lives.
