Nisar’s reverse punch to Nawaz – daggers drawn over poor advice on homecoming saga

(Pak Destiny)  Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has mustered a lot of courage to give a befitting  reply to his ‘old master’  Nawaz Sharif for taunting him in the presence of a good number of party workers an leaders.

Nawaz said “where is the PML-N leader who had suggested to him to take the motorway to Lahore as part of his homecoming rally following his disqualification in 2017” instead of GT Road.

Taking this jibe not lightly Nisar in a statement responded firmly saying: “A majority of the party members had advised taking the motorway to Lahore. It had been decided during the meeting that a welcome ceremony would be held at every interchange, and a grand final welcome would take place upon entering Lahore.

“The decision is on record and news on the Murree meeting has been published as well,” Nisar said and reminded Nawaz that the decision to go via the motorway was taken due to security reasons.

“The subsequent decision to take the GT Road instead of the motorway was not taken on the advice of any politician. In fact a media delegation headed by Mujeebur Rehman Shami had recommended that Nawaz should opt for the GT Road for his journey to Lahore.

Nisar dared to take on Nawaz which none of his darbari like Talal, Danial and many others could even think to do so. -Pak Destiny
