Sharifs’ ‘blue-eyed’ Mubashir Hussain caught red-handed in a bid to smuggle foreign currency and other ‘valuable’ articles to Dubai

Islamabad, Sept 19 (www.pakdestiny.com) The ‘blue-eyed of Sharifs’ – Chaudhry Mubashir Hussain – who was defeated by former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in the May election in Gujrat – was arrested yesterday for trying to smuggle a huge sum of foreign currency and other valuable and proscribed articles to Dubai.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was caught red handed at Sialkot Airport. The airport custom officials searched his luggage and found foreign currency -71,305 dirhams – and some very vaulable artciles he intended to smuggle to Dubai. The Airport Security Force (ASF) seized the foreign currency and arrested Mubbashir.

Sources told Pak Destiny that the PNL-N government’s top officials were trying to save Mubashir. They are requesting Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to provide him ‘relief.’ But owing to media pressure the chief minister may not be able to provide him relief.

Interestingly, Mubashir’s past record was something what he had done yesterday. He is a defaulter of millions of rupees in the Punjab Cooperative Board for Liquidation case. Mubashir and his family had struck a Plea Bargain with National Accountability Bureau after their company National industrial Cooperative Society was accused of corruption and corrupt practices of millions of rupees.
Despite knowing the history of Mubashir, the Sharif Brothers in their opposition to the Chaudhrys of Gujrat had awarded him ticket for NA-105, but he failed to get the ‘desired’ result. Interestingly, Imran Khan’s PTI had earlier denied him ticket after knowing that Mubashir is accused of embezzling millions of rupees of the public.
Lets see whether the Sharifs continue to have Mubashir in the PML-N ranks or rid of him to save their public image. – Pak Destiny
