An important member of Imran Khan cabinet has made strong remarks against former chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar stirring a debate on social media that the minister is doing the job for PMLN which was mainly hit by Nisar’s decisions.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Azam Swati who is known for one million dollar note told a private news channel that “Saqib Nisar is a rather small man”.
Swati said Nisar wanted to tell Imran Khan that he was sitting on “big seat” so he forced him (Swati) to resign from his ministry. Nisar had taken notice of the torture of a poor family by the goons of Swati.
The civil society and media had hailed his action against Swati.
Although justice Nisar was a controversial figure but no one was expecting from the PTI minister to target Saqib Nisar.

ہر کسی کا اپنا نکتہء نظر ہو سکتا ہے ۔ ثاقب نثار صاحب کے دور میں چونکہ کچھ ایسے کیس کھلے جن کا تعلق سیاسی لوگوں سے تھا اسلئے ان کا متنازعہ شخصیت بن جانے قطعاً اچنبھے کی بات نہیں ۔
ملک ریاض جس کے سامنے تمام اشرافیاء ہاتھ باندھے کھڑی نظر آتی ہے اس سے 455 ارب کی سیٹلمنٹ کروانا اور ریاست کو اس سے یہ پیسے وصول کروانا اس بات کا واضح پبوت ہے کہ وہ بحریہ کے کسی پلاٹ کے عوض بکا نہیں ۔
نیسلے اور دیگر بڑی بڑی منرل واٹر کمپنیوں سے ( جوروزانہ زمین سے کروڑوں لٹر پانی 1/4 پیسے فی لٹر کے حساب سے نکال کر 55 روپے فی لٹر بیچ رہی تھیں) ان کے خلاف از خود نوٹس لے کر ان سے فی لٹر ایک روپے کی ریاست کو وصولی کو یقینی بنانا بھی ان کا ایک بڑا کارنامہ ہے ۔
ریاست کو صرف ان دو کیسوں میں کھربوں روپے کا فائدہ ہو گا ۔
وہ کئی جگہ پر غلط بھی ہو سکتے ہیں ۔ لیکن بہت جگہوں پر انہوں نے بہت سالڈ سٹینڈ لیا اور ان کا کریڈٹ بہر حال تاریخ انہیں ضرور دے گی۔
