MRS -- out of fire into the frying pan -- will simple apology save MSR and Abbasi in Nisar-Shamim episode?

Out of the fire into the frying pan. Perhaps this exactly happened to media Mughal Mir Shakilur Rehman.
After getting bail in illegal land acquisition for his palatial house in Lahore Mir Shakilur Rehman was served contempt of court notice from the Islamabad High Court for defaming ‘innocent’ former CJP Saqib Nisar.

MRS must be cursing his so called editor investigation Ansar Abbasi for landing him in trouble. Although the scheme was well planned but it back fired.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued show-cause notices to former chief judge of Gilgit-Baltistan Rana Mohammad Shamim Ahmed Khan, Ansari Abbasi, MRS and Amir Ghouri (editor the News) over a report published in The News that alleged former chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar of colluding to deny bails to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz before general elections 2018.

The court also directed the respondents to submit their replies within seven days and adjourned the hearing for November 26.

Shamim was not present for today’s proceedings presided over by IHC CJ. During the hearing, Shamim’s son told the court that the ex-judge had reached Islamabad the night before and was felling unwell. He also asked permission to play a video in the court and to bring a laptop into the courtroom. However, the request was denied.

Poor MSR who has already spent eight months in the land case. Ansari Abbasi too perhaps miscalculated that Justice Minhallah could go to this extend and show cause him and his boss MSR.

In a meeting before publishing this damning report MSR and company had figured out all aspects… reaching a conclusion that their skin will remain safe.

Now see if MSR and Abbasi get away just for apology then perhaps th judgment of the both was right. PAK DESTINY
