Bollywood music composer and singer Aadesh Shrivastava passed away today on Saturday.
The singer has been battling with cancer since 2010. He underwent treatment when his cancer relapsed for the third time.
Shrivastava had composed music for more than 100 Hindi films including Chalte Chalte, Baabul, Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Raajneeti and many others.
He gave a number of hit songs and has left a legacy to be remembered by. His last movie for which he composed songs was John Abraham and Anil Kapoor-starrer Welcome Back. The movie has been released yesterday (Friday).

He had collaborated with international singers like Akon, Julia Fordham and Wyclef Jean. Members of the film fraternity like Lata Mangeshkar and AR Rahman expressed shock and hope for healthy recovery when they heard about his illeness. While others like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan met him at the hospital.
