Four ‘big mouth’ journalists running malicious campaign against Bushra Bibi

By Kiran Bokhari

(Pak Destiny) Will Bushra Bibi or her husband Imran Khan take four ‘notorious’ journalists — Khusnood Ali Khan, Javed Chaudhry, Sohail Warriach and Umer Cheema — to the court of law for going to extreme extend to malign the first lady (Bushra Bibi) in national media?

The latest dirt thrown by the big mouth Khushnood Ali Khan who claimed that Bushra Bibi is ‘pregnant’. Still this so-called journalist whose whole life is infested with blackmail and dirt, has yet to tender apology. On Mohsin Naqvi’s 24 TV, Khushnood made this claim without any shame. Will he can talk about pregnancy of his own wife on TV?

The other shameful columnist of Jang and Geo anchor Sohail Warraich who earlier commanded respect in the journalism circles, but it seems his love for the Sharifs went to the extend is forcing him to go to this extend. He said his column that Hazrat Fatima spoke to Bushra Bibi in her dream regarding the health issue of one Hasan Jamil. How shamefully this Warriach could use the name of Prophet PBUH’s daughter for his malicious campaign against Bushra Bibi.

Third in the list comes the so-called investigative journalist Umer Cheema of Jang group of Mir Shakilur Rehman. He had claimed that Bushara Bibi had married Imran Khan without completing her ‘Idat’ period. Bushra vehemently denied this claim. This shameful Cheema could ever think of ‘disclosing’ such things of his ‘financers’ … nope he can never dare.

Fourth in this list comes anchor Javed Chaudhry who used the Prophet PBUH’s name to malign Bushra. He claimed in his column in Sultan Lakhani’s Daily Express  that Prophet PBUH had come in the dream of Bushra and directed her to marry Imran after taking divorce from Khawar Manika. How could he easily use the name of the Prophet PBUH to achieve his vested interest.

These characters are a slur in the face of journalism in Pakistan. I appeal to the media students in all institutions and international media organizations to expose them of their ‘dirty journalism’ when they come to interact with them.

Pakistani media needs to rid such dirty journalists of their ranks for the betterment of journalism in Pakistan. – Pak Destiny
