(Pak Destiny) Many see footprints of Shahbaz Sharif in the National Accountability Bureau’seeking delay in the hearing of the Rs1.2 billion Hudaibiya Paper Mills reference in the Supreme Court in which primarily Shahbaz Sharif faces money laundering charges along with other Sharif family members.

How smartly the NAB told the apex court yesterday that it needed more time for this case as the office of prosecutor general is vacant.

“Some sympathizers of Shahbaz Sharif in the NAB had come up with this novel idea to defer the case,” sources in NAB told Pak Destiny today. They said there was no point in seeking more time in this case by the NAB itself…only Shahbaz’s men’s maneuvering did the trick but bogged down by the court eventually.

“Some sympathizers of Shahbaz Sharif in the NAB had come up with this novel idea to defer the case,” sources in NAB told Pak Destiny today.

A three-judge Supreme Court bench, consisting of Justice Mushir Alam, Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel, yesterday categorically rejected NAB’s plea to postpone the hearing until the vacancy of prosecutor general is filled, saying that this was no grounds for an adjournment.

Today NAB appointed Justice Khawar as its new prosecutor general. NAB could have done this weeks ago when this vacancy had fallen vacant.

Shahbaz Sharif who is also facing murder case of 14 members of Dr Tahirul Qadri’s PAT cannot afford to be embroiled in Hudabiya case that means — end of his dream to become prime minister of this country. He may face jail along with his elder brother. – Pak Destiny
