ICS students shine

(Pak Destiny) Some 360 students of the Punjab University Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) have been awarded degrees at a ceremony in Faisal Auditorium.

The ceremony that held last Saturday Punjab Finance Minister Dr Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zakria Zakar, anchor Hamid Mir, ICS head Dr Noshina Saleem and ICS other faculty Dr Bushra, Dr Waqar, Shabbir Sarwar and Fahad Mahood particpated in it.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Zakar asked students to follow journalism code of ethics in their professional lives and appreciated the ICS administration for setting a tradition of taking oath from the graduates.

A total of 360 students of various disciplines of ICS, including BS (Hons), MSc (Morning, Replica,), MSc Development Journalism, MSc Film & TV, MPhil Research Track, MPhil Professional Track were awarded degrees, while 35 distinguished graduates were awarded PUICS and Maulana Zafar Ali Khan medals.

The ICS has been producing a good number of journalists every year.
