Islamabad, July 8 (Pak Destiny) Property tycoon Malik Riaz has bought back “Daily Jinnah” from journalist Khushnood Ali Khan.
Malik Riaz had launched ‘Jinnah’ several years ago. He had ‘sold’ it to Khushnood on the wish of Asef Ali Zardari.
Sources privy to the development told Pak Destiny that Riaz had bought ‘Jinnah’ back from Khushnood. “Riaz will invest hugely in the paper and try to bring it to the level of mainstream newspapers,” they said. Malik Riaz has hired Mahmood Shaam editor of daily Jinnah.
In the wake of current developments in the media, it seems Riaz has decided to have his own media organization. Although many media outlets dance to his tunes. – Pak Destiny
