THE “Double Agent” of PTI is in the dock finally?
The PTI has issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for harming party interests and violating discipline.
Sher Afzal Marwat is accused of violating the party’s code of conduct and hurting its interests through his remarks against senior party leaders and Saudi Arabia.
Marwat has already been removed from the party’s core and political committees on the direction of party founder Imran Khan following the his recent statements about Saudi Arabia.
Marvat had accused Saudi Arabia of conspiring to topple the PTI government in a talk show of anti-PTI and pro-PMLN so called anchor Garida Farooqi at the time when Saudi investors were in Pakistan.
The PTI had publicly distanced itself from his remarks.
The PTI circles believed that only a double agent in tbe PTI can issue such a statement only to the benefits of Imran Khan’s opponents.
“Marwat has issued irresponsible statements that harmed the party’s reputation and interests despite being given clear instructions by the founder chairman Imran Khan not to violate party’s known and stated position,” says the show cause notice.
Marwat damaged relations with fellow party members and stakeholders (Saudi Arabia) through your actions/words.”
Marwat ordered to explain himself in writing within three days of the notice as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.
Marwat had also alleged that Ayub and Faraz had misguided Imran on all issues.
The PTI needs to probe who inducted Marvat in PTI to serve anti Imran purposes. PAK DESTINY
