Here you go. PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat is going to get nomination from Imran Khan as the party’s candidate for the Public Accounts Committee chairman’s role in the National Assembly.
The PMLN got upset after learning the development.
“I am honestly at a loss for words and extremely humbled for the unflinching trust imposed in my person by the founding chairman of PTI Mr Imran Khan,” Marvat said in a post on X.
He said he would ensure that every penny of public exchequer spent by the treasury benches is accounted for in the “true sense”, adding that it will be ensured that the real benefits of the entire federal public spending reach their “actual and just recipients”.
“I assure everyone who stood behind me to keep faith that I will never disappoint them,” Marwat said.
It will be interesting to see how the PMLN blocks this move.
It is likely that the Shehbaz Sharif government may not notify Marvat as Public Accounts Committee chief to save his wrath in the parliament. PAK DESTINY
