(Pak Destiny) Maryam Nawaz has apparently unleashed Pervaiz Rashid and Javed Hashmi to take on Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to give him a ‘befitting reply’ for his criticism of her.
“Maryam in fact took the PML-N out of blind alley instead of pushing it towards it,” Ppervaiz Rashid today said in response to Nisar’s comments that Maryam Nawaz’s sharp tongue is pushing the party towards a dead end. In an other attack, former guard of PML-N Javed Hashmi said: “Chaudhry Nisar is in fact the establishment (army)’s man and he always protected its interest instead of Nawaz Sharif,” Hashmi said. A couple of months ago Hashmi called on Nawaz and Maryam and expressed his wish to join the PML-N. However, his wish was not granted by the father and daughter and it is likely after ‘this service’ he may get PML-N ticket for upcoming election from Multan.
Maryam is doing smart politics as instead of attacking Nisar by herself she unleashed to senior politicians to take him on.
Earlier Nisar said Maryam had said “virtuous people” do not forget kindness but same is not the case with ‘bad people’.
“I have been forced to give a response to the terms used and poetry recited by Mian Nawaz Sharif yesterday and his daughter’s statement,” Nisar said. “Mian sahib, a man can do no favours for mankind, only God can,” he said. “If you [Nawaz] were kind to people, many people must have also been kind to you. You should be aware of that and be grateful for it.”
“But I say this with a heavy heart that I have been targeted in various ways in the past eight to ten months from a certain direction. When nothing else worked, some favoured journalists (citing PML-N tout media persons) were given pre-planned questions, the answers to which were apparent insults directed at me,” said Nisar.
“The evident pawn [of these attacks] was a person who neither has an ideological nor political relationship with the party,” he said. “But a puppet never dances on its own.”
This fight between Maryam and Nisar will continue till the political dust is not settled ahead of forthcoming elections. – Pak Destiny
