Islamabad, Aug 29 (www.pakdestiny.com) PML-N’s Chaudhry Nisar’s has indirectly accused Amir Mahmood of Dunya TV, Sultan Lakhani of Express media group and anchors Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi and Kashif Abbasi Muhammad Malick and some columnists, of receiving Rs4 billion from President Zardari.
Nisar has alleged that some TV channels owners and anchors have been bribed (Rs4 billion) by Zardari ahead of 2013 elections to protect his party’s interest.
Though he did not mention the names but indirectly hinted at Dunay and Express groups owners, anchors like Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi, Kashif Abbasi and Muhammad Malick for their apparent tilt to PPP. Nisar also hinted at columnists like Hasan Nisar, Nazir Naji and Haroon Rashid as all trio are anti-PMLN.
For conducting Zardari’s interview, the PMLN leaders had already alleged that Hamid Mir ‘stayed in the presidency’.
Kashif and Malick had provided PPP Faisal Abidi their platform to hit CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry hard. Sethi is also considered anti-Sharifs.
Mir has already filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking its probe into the money journalists received from property tycoon Malik Riaz.
Will Mir and company take Nisar to court for his startling revelation? Only time will tell. (www.padestiny.com)

First Express News. What started off as “hooking” Geo on American funding through VOA telecasts has now shifted to Express News. Once Express News becomes hooked the Americans are likely to take it to the next stage as they did to Geo (discussed below).
The reality of Zara Sochiye seems to be as follows. I had posted this this comment earlier on this page but it was deleted. This shows that ‘daal mein kuch kaala zaroor hay’.
Since the last two months or so I have been seeing these small segments on Geo, titled ‘Zara Sochiay’ (Just Think). This segment normally exalts modern education as the panacea for all ills of Pakistani society. I had a hunch that this was financed by the Americans since this is what they are trying to push in Pakistan. Also Geo when it does such public interest programming, is likely to put the “Jeem” (for Geo) cartoon character in such programs. Jeem is missing in Zara Sochiay which led me to think that it was program paid for by the Americans. No problems so far.
However something alarming happened a few days ago. In the fresh Zara Sochiay program now the popular couplet “Pakistan kaa matlab kiyaa – La Illaha Illallah” has been modified to “Pakistan kaa matlab kiyaa – Taleem bus aur kiyaa”. This is a serious development and a clear attempt to erase the Islamic Identity link between Pakistaniyat and Islam.
The above is an alarming trend which needs to be checked and very loudly decried at all for a including PEMRA. Hopefully by highlighting it on PAKDESTINY, the general public should become aware of this attempt to erase the Islamic identity in our thinking. And finally it reflects poorly on Geo (and Express News) to become puppets-on-chains to the American designs – simply to make more money.
Shame on Kamran Khan, his directives to Supreme Court and Shaob Siddle to ask questions prepared by Malik Riaz is a part of conspiracy theory. Muhammad Malik and his wife defrauded Government of Pakistan millions – however he was paid in cash heavy amount- result Faisal Raza Abidi interview. Kashif Abbasi the husband of corrupt Anchor the low character like Veena Malik Meher Bukhari received – both Rs. 70 Million. result Faisal Raza Abidi Rana Mubashhar received 12 Million. Najam Sethi received Rs. 25 million. He is a rogue. He also receives from USA. He supported Haqqani on USA advise.
