One Family One World

Family consists of people who can communicate each other for earning their trust as well livelihoods. Source of communication is always a language. The language should be   known to every member of the family.

Punch line of the recent time is that our world is like a global village. Next punch line of the world may be that world is like a family. So if the people of the world wants to trust on other family members and depends upon each other they must consider to learn a language as a one world one family.

Question arises which language? Very simple question and a very simple answer. Every one think about its own native language but it is situation of compromise.

I believe the language of that country shall be acceptable to every other nation:

• Which is most favorable to other;
• Which loves to every nation;
• Which products are acceptable to every nation;
• Which can utilize the resources of the world for the world;
• Which may be neutral to every nation;
• Which may not be harmful to other nations;
• Which has the capacity and capabilities to deliver peace to all nations;
• Which has the deep understanding about the economic conditions of the world; and
• Last but not the least which can win the hearts of other nations by its behavior and way of solving the problems of other nations.

In my opinion, next era is of Chinese language which is known as zhong Wen. Interestingly, it seems that China has its heart on the nerves of the world and open almost 100 Confucius institute in all over the world those are teaching zhong Wen to almost most of the countries.

At this time, I would like to say one of a classical Chinese poems and its translation. Although translation of material of one language into other cannot cover the communication gaps, however we would like to give a fair picture to our readers:

乡愁 | Home Sickness

小时侯

乡愁是一枚小小的邮票

我在这头

母亲在那头

Home sickness of my childhood can be represented by a very small postal stamp. It cannot move more and more. I am not in my home land (China) and this land (Taiwan) is like a black hole for me. My mother is in our home land (China) and she thinks that without me the land is also like a black hole for her. I am here and my mother is there.

长大后

乡愁是一张窄窄的船票

我在这头

新娘在那头

Home sickness of my grown up age can purely be represented like a limited area traveling ticket. I can move from my black whole to another black hole for the job.  I am here and my bride is there.

后来啊

乡愁是一方矮矮的坟墓

我在外 头

母亲 啊在里头

My home sickness of later age is the picture of a very small grave. My mother was died and I am alive and thinking myself as a narrow and a small grave. Neither I am alive nor dead. I am here and the grave of my mother is there.

而现在

乡愁是一湾浅浅的海峡

我在这头

大陆在那头

Now at present, my home sickness is like an anchored boat which can only hear the sound of the water channel.  I am going to be died and my soul is near to be converted into water channel. But unfortunately I am still in this ocean in the same black whole and my home land is there in another ocean. I am here and my homeland is there. – Pak Destiny
