Prime Minister Imran Khan finally held a meeting with Chaudhry brothers and removed the misunderstanding between PTI and PMLQ.
Although PM Khan visited Chaudhrys of Gujrat on Wednesday at their Lahore house to inquire after the health of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain but he was more concerned to clear the cloud of misunderstanding between the two allies.
Parliamentarian Moonis Elahi welcomed PM Khan. Later Khan held meeting with Chaudhry brothers and ironed out differences. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was also there. But Chaudhrys have no issue with him.
PM Khan has realised that without PMLQ it will not be easy for him to rule Punjab especially. On the other hand, PML-N was mending relations with Chaudhrys. Nawaz Sharif recently has spoken to the Chaudhrys. The Chaudhrys consoled with Nawaz over death of his mother and Nawaz inquired after the health of Chaudhry Shujat.
PM Khan had realised that he could not more ignore the Chaudhrys and in the backdrop of this finally Khan called on Chaudhrys at their residence.
This meeting will go a long way in terms of renewed relations between the PMLQ and PTI.
It is said in political circles that if Imran has started taking the political advice of Chaudhrys of Gujrat he will gain more politically in Punjab especially reining in the PML-N.
Relations of Chaudhry brothers with PM Khan may get further strengthened in days to come. PAK DESTINY
