There is something fishy in the affairs of Usman Buzdar government in Punjab.
The case in point is Jang/Geo media head Mir Shakilur Rehman. Shakil was denied bail today by the Lahore High Court in the 54 kanal Lahore land case which was given to him by then CM Nawz Sharif in 1986.
Interestingly instead of being in jail since April 28 when he was sent on judicial remand Shakil is in hospital on the ‘sweet’ permission of Buzdar.
And the complex point is who ordered Buzdar to give relief to Shakil by arranging his stay in hospital. One can only guess.
One the one hand the Jang/Geo is lashing at PM Imran Khan for detaining Shakil in the land case through NAB on the other his handpicked Buzdar going out of the way to give him relief.
