Two poor journalists — Rauf Kalasra and Irshad Bhatti — on Tuesday tried their best to show their loyalty with Jang/Geo group owner Mir Shakilur Rehman by taking on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his presser on Covid-19.
Both journalists especially Kalasra pleaded before the PM for giving relief to Shakilur Rehman. Bhatti too who writes in the Jang newspaper and appears in Geo News program Report Card gets a snub from the prime minister when he tried his best to plead the case of Shakilur Rehman.
Rehman has been in the NAB custody for allegedly acquiring illegal land in Lahore from Nawaz Sharif when he was chief minister Punjab.
Rauf Kalasra us jobless these days and through this attempt he tried to get a job in Jang group.
One wonders as why special assistant to PM Firdous Ashiq Awan invited this jobless anchor to PM presser on corona. There seems to be some method in her approach.
