Three PML-N big guns – Saad Rafique, Talal and Sanaullah – openly take on SC in Panama case – may face contempt of court

(Pak Destiny) Some PML-N stalwarts have started giving open warning to the Supreme Court, giving it a ‘direction’ what to do and what not to do in the historical Panamagate scandal about Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s children off-shore holdings and money laundering.

On the forefront are three top PML-N bigwigs -Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, MNA Talal Chaudhry and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.

Giving instruction to the Supreme Court today after Panangate hearing Talal Chaudhry said: “We ask the Supreme Court to give a clear decision in the Pananamagate and not an ambiguous one…” This appeared an open warning to SC what it should do and what not in the Panamagate. Talal further told reporters in Islamabad that the SC should not give a decision which creates further ambiguity. “We will get a clean chit from the apex court,” he said. In fact he appeared to be directing the SC to give it a clean chit and not any other decsion.

Khawaja Saad Rafique also took on the apex court saying Nawaz Sharif is an ‘open book’ if someone (judges) fails to read it… its not our fault. Saad and Talal’s statements statement come under ‘contempt of court’.

“Nothing can be proved against Nawaz Sharif and we will get clean chit from the SC,” he said. In case of adverse decision Saad warned millions of people will be on roads behind Nawaz Sharif.

Rana Sanaullah has said some forces are ‘using’ the Supreme Court to send Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif packing. He further warned the apex court saying “If a coffin (of PMLN) is to be taken out from the SC in Panama case, then from every street a coffin will be taken out.”

Will SC take notice of such a hostile statements of these PML-N stalwarts and penalise them? Pak Destiny
