Will Nawaz’s troubles go after being forced to appoint Shahbaz PML-N chief?

By Raza Ruman

(Pak Destiny) Disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif is hoping that after making his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif his troubles begin to lessen.

It is learnt that Nawaz has made this decision with a heavy heart as he was advised to name Shahbaz the party head or face the break-up of PMLN.

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision striking down a controversial amendment to the Elections Act 2017 that allowed ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif to resume party leadership after being disqualified in the Panama Papers case, the Central Working Committee of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday elected Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif its interim president and Nawaz Sharif Quaid forlife time.

It is learnt that Nawaz has made this decision with a heavy heart as he was advised to name Shahbaz the party head or face the break-up of PMLN.

Nawaz never wanted to make Shahbaz PMLN president but he was told that by doing so his troubles could be lessened.  And the PML-N may also stands a chance in 2018 otherwise this party be wiped out.

So lets see how Shahbaz runs the party and minimise the role of Nawaz Sharif. – Pak Destiny
