PTI terms A Q Khan a ‘misguided missile’ for calling Imran Khan an ‘immature politician’

Islamabad, (www.pakdestiny.com) Dr A Q Khan’s verbal attack on Imran Khan has turned the nuclear scientist a ‘villain’ in the eyes of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf’s supporters. The PTI earlier was trying to woo him.
In an interview, A Q Khan comments: “Imran Khan is doing cosmetic politics and he is still a politically immature guy. And the people will soon be disappointed from him. I really got disappointed meeting him on a few occasions.”
“This is outrageous. We cannot tolerate this. We think the scientist is toeing the line of Imran Khan’s opponents,” says a senior PTI leader while talking to Pak Destiny.
But to whom A Q Khan can benefit by taking on Imran as he also did not spare Nawaz Sharif, the late Benazir Bhutto, Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf and Chaudhry Shujaat Husain.
About Nawaz Sahrif he says: “Sharif was not willing to go for nuclear test but I forced him (1998) to so do.”
About Benazir, he says: “I transferred nuclear technology to other countries on the direction on Benazir Bhutto.”
The PML-N and PPP circles have strongly condemned A Q Khan’s statement about their leadership and termed it ‘a pack of lies’.
A PML-N leader has commented that A Q Khan is a ‘misguided’ missile targeting its ‘own friends’. Imran Khan had earlier visited A Q Khan a number of times and tried to persuade him to join the PTI. Imran always spoke good about him.
“I think it is not the agencies’s work. A Q Khan’s mental health has deteriorated over the period of time that is why he is cursing every one to get people’s attention,” the PTI leader is of the view. (www.pakdestiny.com)
