The special court on Wednesday handed down death sentence to former president Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf. Since yesterday there has been mixed reaction to this verdict some in its favour and others against it.
But the most interesting thing to watch is anchors sentiments. The poor Pakistani anchors could control their emotions and some of them who were in love or obsession with Musharraf vent out their anger.
Those who cried in love of Musharraf include Kamran Khan, Kamran Shahid, Dr Moeed Peerzada, Arif Hameed Bhatti, Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain, Sabir Shakir, Imran Khan and Irshad Arif.
In their talk shows they looked so dejected and upset over the verdict, getting critical of judiciary. These anchors openly take line from some hidden quarters and lash at politicians.
It was fun to see these anchors wailing over the decision against their favorite Musharraf. Musharraf may get relief if he challenges the decision in the higher court. Pak Desiny
