Lahore, Nov 27 (www.pakdestiny.com) Pakistan Today editor Arif Nizami is ready to testify against Nawaz Sharif who allegedly had received Rs3.5 million from ISI during 1990 elections.
Speaking at function in Royal Palm Club on Tuesday, where Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira was the chief guest, said he (Nawaz Sharif) had told him in a private meeting that he had taken money from the ISI but it was a ‘small amount’ “Had it been more it would been better”, he quoted Sharif as having said.
“I feel morally bound to tell the people who had taken money from the agencies during 1990 elections,” Nazami said, indicating he was ready to testify against Nawaz Sharif in the court.
Daily Pakistan editor Mujibur Rehman Shami however showed tilt towards the Sharifs saying Nazami should not have disclosed ‘out of record talk’ as it was against moral and journalism ethics. (www.pakdestiny.com)
wow thats good news. by the way see how cleanly media has removed sharifs names from the asghar khan case verdict and focused only on ‘generals’. as if all politicians are innocent
he will come out from this issue cleanly. though he had done wrong but now he is really working hard for Pakistan
