August 2018, a comparatively unfamiliar and low-profile politician hailing from South Punjab took over as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Right from his initial days as the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar did not receive a welcoming attitude from media and even his own political party. However, Usman Buzdar continued to perform his important role amongst hostilities and resistance from parliamentarians of PTI, than just leaders of the opposition parties.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has been facing a torrent of criticisms from all sections of the society, including his own party MPAs. A wave of discontent is gaining momentum against his performance and ultimately that of the Punjab government all through the past 15 months.

Recently, massive resistance has been witnessed against the Chief Minister Punjab due to his weak governance in the region. An unrest and assortment of complaints against the illegal occupation of land in Gujranwala has been brought to the notice of the CM, but so far no action has been taken against a single complainant. This speaks of Usman Buzdar’s weak performance and bad governance in Punjab and his inefficiency to hold the Chief Minister’s office.

MPAs are complaining that bureaucracy is least supporting them and even their unpretentious concerns were not being fixed. They claimed that the life of masses has turned into hell due to unbridled price hike, inflation and unemployment.

Samiullah Chaudhry, Provincial Minister for Food, and the front-man of CM Usman Buzdar is facing severe corruption charges. It has been reported that he is taking bribe and passing illicit orders on behalf of the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, whose silence in this regard is highly suspicious. His silence portrays that this purported corruption is either done with his connivance or he is inept to take action against all this.

Several Ministers have been reportedly raising brows against the inefficiency of the Chief Minister. They claim that they cannot discharge their duties diligently under his ineffectual leadership.Ministers are complaining that their problems are escalating under his poor hegemony.

Furthermore, he is incapable to take steps against the state of affairs in central Punjab and the poor enactment of the bureaucrats in that region. This has chagrinned many PTI leaders, belonging to Central Punjab.

The infrastructure in Punjab, is tumbling down under the leadership of Usman Buzdar. The network of roads is in dilapidated state. People are being deprived of the basic necessities of life. The conditions of hospitals are aggravated and apt medical facilities are getting scarce. The pathetic state of affairs in the education sector is alarming for the PTI governance.

Suppositions are gaining hype on the ouster of Usman Buzdar as the Chief Minister Punjab. Reports have revealed that the demand of his dismissal has been brought forward by leaders of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Pak Destiny
