Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is extremely upset for being labelled as “ganwaar” (illiterate) by Dawn’s Fahd Hussain in his article.
Buzdar served on Fahd Rs250milliin notice after going through words of humiliation for him.
Fahd in his March 19 article in daily Dawn writes: ” A few days ago Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar received a detailed briefing on coronavirus from relevant experts and officials. The purpose was to provide him all the information he required as the chief executive of the largest province, so he could make the right decisions. At the end of the briefing, the chief minister asked a question innocently: “Yeh corona kaat-ta kaisay hai? (how does this corona bite)?”
Nothing could better illustrate the state of affairs in Punjab today than this simple question asked by the head of the province about a crisis that has nothing simple about it.”
It was being expected that Prime Minister Imran Khan will take resignation from Buzdar — a great step would be to deal with Coronavirus in Punjab — but as usual this bongi of Buzdar goes unnoticed.
Media advisers of Buzdar like Fayyazul Hasan Chohan told Buzdar that he was humiliated in an article in Dawn and we should file a defamation case against the writer.
Instead getting so furious over Fahd Hussain, Buzdar and company should better focus on steps for Coronavirus eradication from Punjab and providing best health facilities to such patients. Pak Destiny
