‘End of Mubashir Lucman’s controversial journalism career’

By Iram Salim

Islamabad, Sept 29 (pakdestiny) The journalism career of ‘controversial’ anchor Mubashir Lucman is likely to be over after he has been ‘suspended’ by the ARY management for ‘targeting the army chief’ in his programme ‘Khara Sach’ the other day.

Lucman, who was doing a program on the extension of Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani, he tried to malign him and the institution, which was tolerable neither to the forces nor the ARY management. The management is likely to boot Mubashir out for good, the sources say.

The sources told Pak Destiny that Lucman had gone out of his mind by doing such a programme. It is also being discussed in the quarters concerned that he might have done this programme on the wish of some state enemies. “Once he is out of the ARY this time no other channel seems to be interested to take him,” the sources said.

Lucman, a film producer turned anchor reportedly has been suffering from a “delusion of grandeur” and the mistake he made was likely to be committed by such personality.

During his career, Lucman did some interesting shows on property tycoon Malik Riaz and Nawaz Sharif and company. He also targeted some well-reputed personalities including a man having ‘sufi background’. The sufi had publicly wished him ‘misfortune.’ Who knows his misfortunes begin?
It seems Luman’s journalism career is over at least for now. – Pak Destiny
