Geo News and Dunya News are keeping a mum over an alleged audio clip of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz in which she was praising her “media management”.
The short clip making the rounds on Twitter, Maryam allegedly says: “Look at my media management… Geo News and Dunya News have ruined them (PTI regime).”
Earlier, a similar audio clip of Maryam issuing instructions to refuse advertisements to certain TV channels had surfaced, which she admitted was genuine.
Maryam’s gooup to admit her first clip gave authenticity to her second clip. Now she is in a awkward position whether to admit that this is genuine or deny it.
On the other hand, PM’s adviser Shahbaz Gill had asked both news channels to either clarify their position or take legal action against Maryam.
But both channels chose to bury the issue. The PTI media team more often allege that GeoNews of Mir Shakilur Rehman and Dunya News of Mian Amer Mahmood are siding with the Sharifs as they had taken allegedly huge financial benefits from the PMLN last regime.
Both news channels need to come out clean and say something on the matter. PAK DESTINY
