(Pak Destiny) After the ouster of Nawaz Sharif from the president office of the PML-N in the wake of Supreme Court verdict Shahbaz Sharif is lobbying hard to replace his elder brother.
Nawaz has been in consultation with his close aides likes Pervaiz Rashid and Ishaq Dar over the appointment of his replacement. Sources believe that Nawaz may appoint a temporary ‘president’ of the party till his wife Kulsoom fully recovers from cancer in London.
Shahbaz is not scheme of things of Nawaz. “Practically speaking Nawaz will never make Shahbaz prime minister candidate of PML-N publicly. Simply he cannot afford this because by this the party may be hijacked by Shahbaz. Maryam is totally against this idea of giving any broader role to Shahbaz…. he will remain confined to the politics of Punjab,” the sources said.
