(Pak Destiny) Finally Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister, is all set to taste the powers of prime minister, thanks to the Supreme Court for his brother Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification.
Nawaz Sharif after getting disqualification from the five-member SC bench yesterday announced the name of his successor and that is none else but his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif.
The five-judge larger bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa unanimously announced the verdict, disqualifying the PM for failing to disclose his un-withdrawn salary as chairman of UAE-based offshore company Capital FZE.
For 45 days of stopgap arrangement Shahid Khaqan Abbasi or Ayaz Sadiq may be chosen for the slot. Shahbaz Sharif is very happy to be nominated for the slot. He will try to install his son Hamza in Punjab as its chief minister. – Pak Destiny
