Islamabad, June 22 (http://www.pakdestiny.com) Soon after President Zardari nominated Malhdoom Shahbuddin for the coveted post, some PPP stalwarts closed the establishment requested him (Zardari) to nominate Raja Pervaiz Ashraf the covering candidate.
Before that Zardari had asked Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi of PMLQ if he was interested to become a consensus-candidate of the allies for the slot of the prime minister. Chaudhry however refused saying the PMLQ was in no mood to have a clash with judiciary of writing a letter to the Swiss authorities to reopen graft cases of Zardari.
Our sources further informed that once Raja got the nomination, his PPP friends activated the establishment and got issued arrested warrants of Shahab. The ephedrine case was against him pending for about a year but the smart guys in the establishment outsmarted him and got in its man – Raja.
Now it is expected that Raja will toe the line of the establishment because infact he is its candidate. – (http://www.pakdestiny.com)
