PPP to sue Bangladeshi tabloid for publishing ‘concocted’ Bilawal-Hina love affair story

Islambad, Sept 26 (www.pakdestiny.com) The reported love-affair between Bilawal Bhutto and Federal Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has caused uproar in the Pakistan People’s party circles, as the mainstream leadership remained busy on Wednesday to confirm the ‘speculative’ news.
Even the other parties like PMLN and PTI stalwarts called to their friends in PPP to check the veracity of the news.
The PPP legal brains also sat together to finalize suing Bangladeshi tabloid for ‘defaming’ the chairman of PPP.
The love affair came out in the public after a Bangladeshi tabloid ‘The Blitz’ published the story with intimate details about the relationship.
The tabloid claimed that Bilawal was deeply in love with Hina, who is 11 years older than him. “Both of them have planned to leave Pakistan and settle in Switzerland post their union, the report said.”
“Hina’s millionaire husband Firoze Gulzar has officially moved an application seeking Hina’s phone call details.”
Although officials in Pakistan have denied the affair, the tabloid has confirmed that Hina’s husband has submitted an application with Federal Investigation Agency for full call details of two “suspected” numbers.
The Blitz had also claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari is vehemently opposed to Bilawal’s keenness to enter into marital relations with Khar, who is already married and is mother of two children.
” Zardari fears that such a move by his son will not only jeopardize Bilawal’s political career but also spell political doom for the ruling PPP”.
The sensational report further claimed that Bilawal and Hina had a secret affair for quite some time. It came to the knowledge of Asif Ali Zardari, when he caught the duo in a compromising situation inside the President’s house, where Bilawal also resides, the report said.
“In an effort to dissuade Hina from going ahead with the relationship, the report said, Zardari used the government machinery against the business interests of Hina’s husband, but he failed in his endeavor.”
The Blitz further claimed that Hina Rabbani Khar sent Bilawal a greeting card on his birthday with hand-written message: “The foundation of our relations is eternal and soon we shall be just ourselves.”
Despite Zardari’s tough stand, Bilawal is said to be adamant on going ahead with his plan to marry Hina.
The tabloid claimed that Bilawal has even threatened to resign as President of PPP.
“Bilawal told his father that he would settle in Switzerland with his lady love and her daughters, though later he even told his father that, Hina might leave her daughters with her husband after the divorce.”
The PPP sees big conspiracy knitted against its leadership. Earlier, the Jang group had published a story alleging that Zardari married an Pakistani doctor settled in the US. The report later turned out fake and Zardari sued The Jang media group but the case is still pending in our “independent” judiciary. (www.pakdestiny.com)
