Islamabad, (www.pakdestiny.com) PPP top gun and Water and Power Minister Ahmed Mukhtar has done his homework to join the PML-N in case President Zardari denies him ticket to accommodate PMLQ chief Chaudhry Shujaat on a Gujtrat seat in coming general election.
A reliable source told Pak Destiny that Mukhtar had a ‘secret’ meeting with PMLN president Nawaz Sharif last week and discussed the future political scenario especially in Gujrat.
“Zardari is not ready to say goodbye to the Chaudhrys. In that case I think I should explore other options,” Mukhtar.
Sharif said PMLN would welcome him and he would prove to be a great asset to the party.
Mukhtar said he would announce his joining the PMLN in such a scenario during interim set up.
Mukhtar had to face humiliation over a month ago when he spoke against the Chaudhrys. Zardari asked him not only to apologise from the Chaudhrys but also take back his statement against them. Mukhtar duly followed his boss’ direction. (www.pakdestiny.com)
everything is fair in love and POLITICS
Let Mukhtar leave PPP …… He will die politically ……
i disagree. party need such electables NOT THEY NEED ANY PARTY. mind it.
It may or may not happen but one thing is sure that decent people have no place in PPP. Some like Senator Anwar Baig has already left PPP and others are ready and waiting for the opportune time (Announcement of Interim Govt).
Twenty or many more PPP sitting MPA’s of Punjab will announce joining PML-N on DAY-1 of the interim Government.
A number of people who went for the over reported big rallies will also be leaving the “Party of Ticket Investors” as soon their dream of a ticket is gone. Increasing numbers of Pakistanis are convinced that Pakistan can not be handed over to the inexperienced novices who once agin are depending on technocrats for experimentation.
PML-N is the best party being Decent, Practical, Progressive and a party of Change in the Past, Present and Future. Its members do not get blamed for the corruption of their leaders (like Zardari & Gilani)
