“What this fascist govt is doing to Shahbaz Gill can’t happen in any humane society. One just has to be a decent human being to condemn and call this fascism out”, was among thousands of responses on social media on Saturday on the alleged torture of PTI’s Shahbaz Gill.
Most social media users asking “whether basic Human rights have become extinct in Pakistan, the country has become lawless?”
Another Twitter user says: “Inhuman torture inflicted upon Shehbaz Gill is a criminal offense. Forcefully taking off his oxygen in court premises and then keeping him out of hospital for 4 hours in his critical health condition is an attempt to murder.”
Maheen says “another one & massive! Thank you Isb ppl 4 standing against this inhumane behavior with Shahbaz Gill under custody. This was not political victimization anymore, this was human rights crisis- hats off to all of them for getting out!”
Imran Khan, PTI chairman, has already disclosed that Gill was sexually assaulted. This is very serious allegation.
PPP’s Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has also confirmed Imran’s statement. And he poured shame on the Shehbaz government.
