What a humiliating end of once a star player Shahid Afridi. Poor soul was made to bite dust today in a PSL fixture between Quetta and Islamabad.
Shahid Afridi’s 4-0-67-1 is most expensive bowling figures in history of PSL, surpassing 4-0-65-0 by Islamabad United’s Zafar Gohar against Peshawar Zalmi in 2021 at Abu Dhabi.
One wonders why this old man exposed himself to the game which is meant for youngsters.
What prompted to play at this level — love for money or love for the game being player.
He not only humiliated himself but also made his fans sad.
Afridi after this humiliation should announce his retirement from PSL.
It was pain to see how the old chap was toyed in bowling by new chap Azam Khan, son of Shahid’s colleague Moin Khan.
What a shame for Afridi. Please call it a day before you get more thrashing in upcoming matches.
He was also taken to task on Twitter. The most entertaining bit of tonight’s match is Azam Khan hitting a massive 6 in Afridi’s over and Sarfraz not being able to say anything to the bowler.
