Islamabad June 16 (http://www.pakdestiny.com) Ahead of the Supreme Court’s two-member commission’s probe into leaked off-air conversation of Dunya TV anchors Mubashir Luqman and Mehr Bohari and property tycoon Malik Riaz during an interview break, Mr Luqman has reportedly run away from the country.
A reliable source in media industry told pakdestiny.com that Mr Mubashar had run away from the country to avoid appearance before the commission.
“Mubashar fled to London after learning about the probe by the judicial commission” the source said.
Mubashir, a film-producer-turned-anchor, shot to fame for his ‘vulgar’ shows on Business Plus then he was picked up by Sultan Lakhani of Express Media Group and Amir Mahmood of Dunya TV to achieve their vested interest through Luqman’s targeted programmes.
In the latest planted interview of Riaz he and his fellow anchor Meher planed was enough to expose both of them. But Amir Mahmood could not fire the ‘charming Meher’.
A senior reporter of an English daily said: “Let’s see after this shameful episode Luqman survives as anchor. But considering the political needs of our TV channels owners it will not be surprising if he makes a comeback shortly.” – http://www.pakdestiny.com

A planted interview by Dunya TV anchor traumtized the nation.
Actually we have immature journalist at different TV channels who does not know how to talk and what sort of question to be raised with the interviewer. TV anchors at Dunya TV channel should have realized that to whom they are talking is Malik Riaz, a disputed figure who jolted the whole nation, he maligned the judiciary, blackmailed other judges along with Chief Justice(CJ) of Pakistan. How he was vociferous while doing press conference in Islamabad, accusing Arsalan (CJ son) and involving CJ.
Since Malik Riaz alleged a chain of TV anchors, Journalist/ political analyst/ Govt. Functionaries/ TV channel owners/ political leaders & their family/ involvement on duty & retired General/ Colonel/ Lieutenant & Brigadier etc. for taking undue advantage & benefit in the shape of property, gift, car & cash. The TV anchor of Dunya TV channel were well aware about Malik Riaz therefore they should not have ‘closed to him’ instead to maintain distance in between professional and an accused whose case has already been instituted for court proceedings.
If you see the environment of the room (where the interview was continuing) the trio had mixed with each other and they were talking very friendly instead to observe that it’s a ‘burning issue’ and whole the nation is watching this interview very keenly.
Though Dunya TV management has suspended Luqman while Mehr Bokhari also should have been suspended and internal staff those were supporting this interview to live also are involved in this planted interview. Further the role of one of the management guy who talked with Mehr to go for over time and let Malik sahib to speak well. Does it not show any attachment with Malik Riaz for some special favor? However following are ‘off-time conversation’ which went leaked and published at social media that’s traumatized the masses, certainly were unpleasant & undesirable where every Pakistani have grave concern that
a) Why Malik Riaz was telling during the “off-time” (video footage that went leaked out) to Mehr Bokhari & Luqman in Punjabi language “putar o putar” meaning (son/ daughter) when Luqman went out angrily as both anchor were not accommodating each other rather quarrelling like a kids, then Malik Riaz asked escorts or technician in the room to dial his daughter phone and ask her to make Luqman agree to come back. Malik RIaz was repeating “Allah de waste mera program kharab na kareen” (For God sake don’t spoil my program).
b) Does it not reflect too closeness with TV anchor?
c) Why Mehr asked Malik Riaz to have dinner & what you will eat, further luqman asked Mehr to join Mehr husband as well?
d) Why Mehr mentioned with Malik Riaz that after break when we resume, you have to reply for these question, assisting him to say this and that?
e) Why Mehr mentioned that the interview is looking like a ‘planted’ though it is not planted – a very clear sentence in the video – what impression Mehr actually gave to the nation – Is it not creating a suspicion?
f) Why Mehr and Luqman were splitting their question with Malik Riaz that Luqman will ask this & Mehr will ask that?
g) Why luqman mentioned for the phone calls received on his mobile, the caller identified as son of PM (Abdul Qadir Gilani) who appreciated the interview going live & Luqman told him that I’m giving opportunity to Malik sahib to establish about Hamid Mir but he is stopping me for not to mention his name and then mobile unit handed over to Malik Riaz who replied the caller Ji Bunee (yes my son)
h) Why Mehr Bokhari mentioned the call she received from daughter of Nawaz Sharif Maryam who asked Mehr to convey thanks message from shahbaz Shareef to Malik Riaz that the car he offered but Shahbaz Sharif did not accept & ask Malik Riaz to remove apprehension among the masses to clean the slate
i) Luqman share a message received on his mobile from Roohi TV that ‘Did Malik sahib booked you’ and then luqman asked Malik Riaz to give me and give me today as you have given a villa to Hamid Mir.
j) Luqman shares a mobile message with Malik Riaz that Geo TV is showing a clip where you (Malik Riaz) confirmed in one of the interview that you put wheel under the file to get your job done.
There a lot of irrelevant off-time conversation went leaked which Luqman & Mehr Bokhari did during this planted interview.
Though Dunya TV has suspended Luqman but Mehr Bokhari also should have suspended and management guy those were involved directly or indirectly in planting a fictitious interview to fool the nation.

Islamabad, June 19 (http://www.pakdestiny.com) As at least 10 anchors among the list of 19 who have allegedly received millions of rupees from property tycoon Malik Riaz belong to Geo TV Network, its management is trying to ‘bribe’ the superior judiciary by airing an ad during prime time with full of ‘praise and flattery’ of the judges.
As the Geo media group does want Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to look into the corruption of its men it is trying to ‘bribe’ the judiciary through the advertisement (main nahi manta) depicting 17 judges of the Supreme Court the only hope against corruption. “In this effort the Geo group is trying to give a clean chit to Arsalan Iftikhar, son of the CJ, in the corruption case of Rs340 million, and in return wants the CJ not to open the corruption of its anchors and columnists” a reporter working with Geo told pakdestiny.com. He said the working journalists of the group were against this. “The management is doing so on the request of the tainted anchors,” he said.
Interestingly, the CJ had constituted a judicial commission when the PMLQ had aired an ad terming Moonis Elahi innocent in NICL case believing that it was anti-judiciary. But now it seems that the CJ and other judges of the apex court are happy seeing their pictures in the ad portrayed as ‘saviors’. “No suo motu will come in this case,” he said.

– Recieved 2 crore and 85 lakh rupees (Rs38.5million) in 3 instalments through national bank
– Mercedes-Benz
2. Dr. Shahid Masood, Express TV
– Recieved 1 crore and 7 lakh rupees (Rs10.7 million) through National Bank
– 7 fully paid trips to Dubai, including hotel stays and car rentals.
3. Najam Sethi, Geo TV
– Recieved 1 crore and 94 lakh rupees (Rs19.4million)
– 1 Kanal plot in Bahria town Lahore
– 3 fully paid trips to USA, including hotel stays.
4. Kamran Khan, Geo TV
– Recieved 62 lakh rupees(Rs6.2million), was promised 2 crore (Rs20million) + a house in Bahria town which he didn’t get and this was the reason he decided to break the story.
5. Hassan Nisar, Geo TV
– Recieved 1 crore 10 lakh rupees (Rs11 million)_ – 10 marla plot in Bahria town
6. Hamid Mir Geo TV
– Recieved 2 crore and 50 lakh rupees (25million)
– 5 kanal plot in Islamabad
7. Mazhar Abbas, ARY, recieved 90 lakh rupees (Rs9million)
8. Aftab Iqbal, Geo, received Rs20 million.
9: Sana Bucha, Geo, received Rs8.3 million
10: Muneeb Farooq, Geo, received Rs 2.5 million
11: Asma Sherazi, Sama TV, received Rs 4.5 million, Rehman Malik had also sponsored her and hubby Rehmani VIP Haj two years ago.
12: Sami Ibrahim, Dunya, received Rs10 million.
13: Arshad Sharif, Dunya, received Rs8.5 million
14: Nusrat Javed, AJJ TV, received Rs7.8 million
15: Mushtaq Minhas, AJJ TV, received Rs 5.5 million

Mr Hussain has raised so many questions, but sorry to say none of them will ever be answered by the Dunya News administration . As the whole plot was hatched by Duniya news itself. As for Ms Bokhari she got away with a mere slap on the wrist, while Mudashir Lucman was suspended, this happened because Duniya News management knew very well that if she was sacked there was a good probability that she could have been scooped up by any rival news network for her charming looks and articulated and sharp witted anchoring skills.
In my opinion all this qualities does not make the wrong a right. Both the anchors were equally involved in the complicity and both of them should have received equal treatment.
We need to wait for the out of the SC court notice on this issue.
