While PMLQ senior leader MNA Moonis Elahi has welcomed the FIA report on sugar crisis, PTI leaders didn’t follow suit.
Commenting on the report Mr Moonis said: “I indirectly hold shares of RYK Sugar Mills , but I am not involved with management of the company. As shown in the report here RYK Mills has a 3.14% share in national export. As I welcome the report I hope people will quote this truthfully and responsibly.”

Only a clean man can welcome the FIA investigation into sugar crisis and wants government to go ahead with its implementation plans.
But on the other hand why Jehangir Tareen and federal Khusro Bakhtair are not welcoming this report… are they not clean?
Bakhtiair should have resigned from his ministry and presented himself for accountability in this regard. Tareen is also supposed to present himself for accountability.
Mr Moonis did not shy coming forward to explain his position as he believes there is nothing to hide in this respect and government should take account of all aspects.
The PMLQ leader has asked the media not to distort facts and present the truth. “I hope people will quote this truthfully and responsibly,” he insists.
Tareen thinks that no wrong has been committed regarding receiving the Punjab government subsidy on export of sugar.
The FIA reports needs to explain the role of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Punjab agriculture department. Pak Destiny
