Twitter is rife with rumours that ISI chief Lt Gen Faiz Hameed is being replaced by Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum.
Hameed is being appointed as Corps Commander Peshawar.

“Former DG ISI Lt Gen Faiz Hameed appointed as a new Corps Commander XI Peshawar. Corps Commander Peshawar Faiz Hameed has great responsibilities due to the situation in KP, Tribal Districts & Afghanistan. We hope that he will fulfill his responsibilities in the best possible way,” says a Twitter user.

Chris Alexander says: “Talk of GHQ/ISI ‘tussles’ is eyewash: XI Corps is Hameed’s reward for putting Pakistan’s handpicked darlings on top (for now) by invasion & his September 4 Kabul inspection tour. Nadeem Anjum will pick up at ISI where Hameed left off.”

It was the top trend on social media on Tuesday. The change of ISI chief seems so obvious after Business Recorder broke the story of appoint of Gen Hameed as Corps Commander Peshawar.

If this is the case it is not a good news for PMLN.
