A million-dollar question is who is behind Maryam Nawaz’s frontal attack on serving Supreme Court judges.
Many are pointing towards the facilitators of the PDM government.
In case Maryam is not getting strength and backing from the powers that be she would not removed the name of Gen Bajwa from the cabal of five and included the names of Justice Mazahar Ali Naqvi and Justice Ijazul Ahsan. Daal main kuch kala hai ya puri daal Kali hai.
One is still wondering after a lethal attack on judiciary no contempt notice was issued to Maryam on Friday.
On the other hand, former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, the PML-N is once again attacking the judiciary.
“PML-N always tries to make institutions controversial and put pressure on people to hide their weaknesses,” he said and added under the leadership of Imran Khan, “we will not allow the judiciary to be affected, nor will allow the nation to be divided, the decision taken by the people is the right decision.”
He said that both the Governor and the Election Commission are running away from announcing the polls date. “If they cannot announce the date of the election, then they should tell who will announce the election date. Punjab and KPK assemblies have been dissolved, now elections will be held in anyway.”
