The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has made a startling revelations — 54 plots of Jang/Geo group owner Mir Shakilur Rehman in Lahore — given to him by Nawaz Sharif being chief minister of Punjab in 1980s.
The NAB Lahore has summoned Shakilur Rehman to appear before its investigation team of on March 5. NAB said Nawaz Sharif being Punjab CM in 1986 had given 54 plots in Jauhar Town to Shakilur Rehman in violation of rules.
Prime Minister Imran Khan during his election campaign had promised to go after Shakilur Rehman for making huge ‘black money’ and running propoganda campaigns at the behest of someone.
Although the government has banned Jang/Geo group ads but despite this it is giving tough time to the PTI.
Let see how Shakil takes up this NAB notice. It is likely that he will not appear before NAB team. Pak Destiny
