PML-N’s no confidence in ISI, MI – Does it want Panama probe only by IB & FIA

(Pak Destiny) The PML-N seems to have decided to go for head-on collision in the situation arises after strong grilling of Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Mminister Nawaz Sharif.

Govt seems to want panama probe only by FIA and IB

Earlier, the PML-N had raised objections on two members of the joint investigation team probing Nawaz Sharif and his children for their alleged off-shore holdings and it is targeting two more members.
The JIT comprises six members – one each from Federal Investigation Agency, Inelligence Bureau, Inter Service Intelligence, Military Intelligence, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and State Bank of Pakistan.
The PML-N has termed bias the members of SECP and SBP and now it voiced against the ISI and Members, showing that it is comfortable only with the two government agencies guys – IB and FIA.
The message the PML-N has given is very clear – ‘No to JIT probe.’

“WhatsApp call (reportedly from Supreme Court registrar) for inclusion of two members (one from the State Bank and other from Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan), leak of Hussain Nawaz’s picture facing his interrogators, JIT members’ pressure tactics and question mark over the expertise of the two members of the JIT — one each from ISI and MI ─ are the reasons enough for the PML-N to go for an agitation against it (JIT),” Punjab government spokesman Malik Ahmed Khan told Dawn yesterday.

Govt does not seem to want panama probe by ISI and MI

“As we already had challenged the inclusion of two members ─ Amer Aziz of SBP and Bilal Rasool of SECP ─ in the SC, we are going to seek an explanation that on what grounds the ISI and MI members have been made part of the JIT. We want to know their expertise. Our reservations against the JIT are well-founded and we may go for an agitation against it,” Malik Ahmed Khan warned.
So it is quite obvious now that the PML-N government does not want the other four members of the JIT except the two of its own departments. This situation is going for head-on collision and perhaps the Nawaz government wants this. – Pak Destiny
