Imran Khan’s PTI’s finally managed to hold a successful rally in Lahore. The PTI rally was held in the constituency of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Police pounced on the rally at 6pm and put off lights ans cleared the stage after the 6pm deadline expired following some speeches from leaders to supporters at Kahna in the provincial capital’s Ring Road area on Saturday.
Khan’s supporters took out their cellphones and used them to light up the rally venue while the party announced on its YouTube livestream that even the sound system was turned off due to the conditions of the no-objection certificate.

Meanwhile, the PTI thanked its supporters for the turnout in Lahore, calling it a “tsunami”.
Footage shared earlier by the party showed throngs of people at the rally venue as the stage filled up with PTI leaders.

The stand-off between the PTI and the Punjab government ended late last night, as the former was finally granted permission to hold the rally, subject to compliance with 43 conditions.
Before the police took control over the stage, an AI generated speech of Imran Khan was being played in the rally.
“I will not accept this government of mandate thieves come what may. These are corrupt people not acceptable to the people,” Imran Khan told the rally participants.
He also took oath from the participants to protect the Constitution and not to surrender to any one.
Earlier in his tweet Mr Khan urged the nation to come out for the Lahore jalsa (rally) with unwavering resolve and commitment.
“Resistance against this illegitimate government is a responsibility that every conscientious citizen must undertake. This is a battle for the survival of our future generations,” Khan said.
The chief guest of the rally Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was still on way when police pounced on the rally and forced the people to leave the venue. PAK DESTINY
