Supreme Court judge Qazi Faez Isa continues to make himself controversial by giving credence to an impression that he is being played apparently at the hands of the PDM and the powers that be?
Will Isa try to dispel this impression? Leta see what’s on his mind.
His name was again making top trend on the social media in Wednesday and Thursday.
“Today, J. Qazi Faez Isa has lectured on sanctity of Constitution & role of courts but his recent recommendations in his orders/notes are undermining the authority of the constitution by giving courage to govt to exploit it & defy SC Orders to delay elections”.
Another Twitter user says Qazi Faiz Isa has slept through more than twelve months of the State’s enforcers violating all constitutionally protected rights of citizens.
Jamal Ayub says “Really alarming when SCP Judge Qazi Faez Isa talking to professor of Shifa Tameer Millat Universit,ranked near bottom as under. Judge sb speak about Yale,Oxford,Harvard but landed in STMU of poor ranking. Hudaibiya Paper Mill or 90 days Election time.”
Hassan Niazi said: “Should I regret defending Justice Qazi Faez Isa sab when reference was filed against him during PTI govt.?”
“He has shown that he is bias by attending the parliamentary session and sitting with the govt benches … he could have attended by sitting in the guest’s gallery.”

Justice Qazi Faez Isa said on Wednesday that the Constitution gives the SC as a whole the right to take suo motu notice, which according to Article 184(3) means all judges and the chief justice unanimously doing so.
