(Pak Destiny) Former president Asif Ali Zardari is being criticised for taking Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat in PPP’s fold.
Some senior PPP leaders from Punjab like Aitzaz Ahsan, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Abida Husain, Nadeem Afzal Chan have not been consulted by Zardari for all important decision to take Faisal Saleh Hayat back in the party.
Hayat had not only ditched the late Benazir Bhutto but formed PPP-Patriotic in Musharraf government.
The PPP circles are criticising Zardari to take the person who stabbed in the back of the party none else did. Some of the PPP leaders are vocal about Zardari’s wrong decsion while others are silently voicing their concern. Hayat is concerned electable from Jhangh and that is why he is considered a ‘future asset’ of PPP.
On the other hand Hayat has rejected rumours about his joining PPP. He said that any decision about joining PPP will be taken after consultation with friends and workers. He said he enjoys good relations with the heads of all the political parties in the country.
“I met Zardari at a wedding in Karachi. The meeting remained positive but decisions to joint parties are not taken in wedding receptions,” he added. – Pak Destiny
